MADO began a long time ago in 1850. A person named Yaşar Kanbur started the first ice cream shop. For many years, it was just one special shop.
How MADO Grew
In 1991, the MADO ice cream shop started to become a big chain. This means they opened many more shops. Now, MADO has over 305 restaurants and cafés in Turkey.
MADO also has shops in many other countries. You can find them in places like Australia, Canada, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Germany, and Jordan.
In 2019, MADO opened its first shop in Taiwan. They worked with a big company there called Teco Group to make it happen.
