The Mitsubishi Grandis is a type of car called a minivan or MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle). It was made by the Japanese company Mitsubishi Motors. This car was designed to be a spacious family vehicle.
The Grandis took the place of an older model called the Mitsubishi Space Wagon in 2003. It was sold in many different parts of the world. These included Japan, various countries in Asia, Europe, Oceania, Mexico, Honduras, Jamaica, and countries in South America.
This car was quite popular. It won the Best MPV award at the Bangkok International Motor Show every year from 2005 to 2010. Mitsubishi stopped making the Grandis in 2011.
Engine Power
Cars need engines to make them move. The Mitsubishi Grandis had a few different engine options. These engines gave the car its power.
- One engine option was a 2.4-liter engine. This engine could produce about 165 hp.
- Another option was a 2.0-liter diesel engine. This one produced around 136 hp. Diesel engines use a different type of fuel than regular gasoline engines.
