Moorebank is a suburb located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It's about 27 kilometres southwest of the main Sydney city centre. Moorebank is part of the City of Liverpool area.

Moorebank got its name from an early settler named Thomas Moore. Long ago, this area was mostly farmland with vineyards. Nuwarra Public School opened its doors in 1973. The Moorebank shopping centre also opened around the same time in the early 1970s. Moorebank is built on a raised area of land. In 1986, big floods cut off the suburb from nearby places.

The M5 Motorway is a major road that helps people travel from Moorebank. It connects the suburb to the Sydney city centre in the east. It also goes west towards Campbelltown. Moorebank is close to Liverpool railway station. This station is part of the Sydney Trains network.
