Morrisville is a small village located in the town of Morristown, within Lamoille County, Vermont, in the United States. In 2020, about 2,086 people lived here.
Morrisville is known for having two country clubs, a hospital, and a school building that looks like it has Greek architecture. It also has its own airport. Two important companies, Union Bank and Concept2, have their main offices in Morrisville.

History of Morrisville
Morrisville was first settled by people in 1798. The Morrisville Historic District is a special area in the village. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which means it has important historical buildings.
A kind person named Alexander Copley gave a lot of money to the village. Because of his generosity, the local hospital and one of the country clubs are named after him. Copley also helped pay for the high school, which is now called Peoples Academy.
Where is Morrisville Located?
Morrisville is in the northeastern part of the town of Morristown. It is a bit southeast of the middle of Lamoille County. The village is built on both sides of the Lamoille River, with the main part of the village on the south side.
It is about 3 miles (5 km) southeast of Hyde Park, which is the county seat. Morrisville is also about 13 miles (21 km) northwest of Hardwick and 9 miles (14 km) northeast of Stowe.

Culture and Sports in Morrisville
Morrisville has been home to some sports teams. The Vermont Wild was a professional hockey team that played in the Federal Hockey League. They played at Morrisville's Green Mountain Arena during the 2011–2012 season.
The Vermont Wild was the first professional hockey team to ever play in Vermont. However, they stopped playing after only about two weeks.
