Indigenous Cultural Sites

Snohomish County is home to important sites related to Indigenous history and culture:

  • The Indian Shaker Church west of Marysville, on the Tulalip Reservation, was listed in 1976. This is a building of the Indian Shaker Church denomination.

Former Listings

Sometimes, places are removed from the National Register. This can happen if a building is changed too much, or if it is torn down.

"Jack Knife" Bridge

The "Jack Knife" Bridge near Everett was removed from the list in 1990. This bridge used to span the Ebey Slough. It was replaced, and the old bridge now serves as a footbridge to Spencer Island Park.
