Major roads like U.S. Route 45 and U.S. Route 278 run through the western part of Nettleton. These four-lane highways can take you north about 15 miles to Tupelo, which is the main city in Lee County. If you head south on U.S. Route 45, you'll reach Aberdeen, the main city in Monroe County, about 20 miles away. U.S. Route 278 also goes southeast to Amory, which is about 15 miles from Nettleton. Another road, Mississippi Highway 6, connects Nettleton to Amory and Tupelo as well.
