Ossipee Lake is a beautiful lake located in eastern New Hampshire. You can find it in Carroll County, near the towns of Ossipee and Freedom. It's quite a large lake, covering about 3,257 acres (1,318 ha). This makes it the sixth-biggest lake that is entirely within New Hampshire!
The lake gets its water from several rivers. The West Branch flows in from the north. The Bearcamp and Lovell rivers join from the west. The Pine River adds water from the south. All this water then leaves the lake from its eastern side through the Ossipee River. This river then flows all the way to the Saco River in Maine.
