Peter Green (born Peter Allen Greenbaum; 29 October 1946 – 25 July 2020) was a British blues rock singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is one of the founders of Fleetwood Mac. He was added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. Green's writing credits include Fleetwood Mac songs such as "Albatross", "Black Magic Woman", "Oh Well", "The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown)" and "Man of the World". Rolling Stone ranked Green at number 58 in its list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".

Green was born in Bethnal Green, London. His family were Jewish. Green was married to Jane Samuels from 1978 to 1979. The couple had one daughter.

Green lived on Canvey Island in Essex. On 25 July 2020, Green died in his sleep at the age of 73.
