Robert Michael Aramayo, born on November 6, 1992, is a talented English actor. He is known for playing young Eddard Stark in the popular TV series Game of Thrones. He also starred in the mystery miniseries Behind Her Eyes on Netflix. Since 2022, many people recognize him as Elrond in the Amazon series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
In 2025, Robert Aramayo received important awards for his leading role in the film I Swear. He won the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role and the BAFTA Rising Star Award. This made him the first person to win both of these prestigious awards in the same year.

Robert Aramayo's Early Life and Education
Robert Aramayo was born in Kingston upon Hull, England, on November 6, 1992. His parents are Michael Aramayo and Lisa Dawson. Robert has both English and Basque family roots. His grandfather, Pedro Aramayo, came from San Sebastián and moved to England when he was fifteen to work in the fishing industry.
Starting Acting Young
Robert began acting when he was just seven years old. His first role was playing Bugsy Malone in a play at his primary school. He went to Cavendish Primary School. When he was ten, he joined the Hull Truck Youth Theatre. There, he performed in about three plays every year. His older sister, Laura, also started acting at the Hull Truck Youth Theatre. She later studied drama at the Oxford School of Drama.
Studying at Juilliard
After attending Malet Lambert School and Hull's Wyke College, Robert earned a special spot. In 2011, he was accepted into the famous Juilliard School in New York City. While at Juilliard, he played the main character, Alex, in a play called A Clockwork Orange. This performance helped him get his very first film role in an Italian-American movie called Lost in Florence.

Harley, a co-founder of the famous Harley-Davidson motorcycle company. This was for the Discovery Channel miniseries Harley and the Davidsons.
In 2019, he appeared in one episode of the crime series Mindhunter. Later, in 2021, Robert starred in the Netflix mystery miniseries Behind Her Eyes. A very big role came in 2020 when he was cast as Elrond. He plays this wise elf character in Amazon's fantasy series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which started in 2022.
