Simeon Jackson's Club Career
How Simeon Jackson Started Playing Soccer
Jackson began his soccer journey with his local team in Canada, Sunoco FC. He was invited to try out for Gillingham, but they did not sign him at that time. When he was 15, he moved to England to live with his grandmother in Croydon, South London. While playing for Dulwich Hamlet, Jackson worked at McDonald's to support himself in England.
Playing for Rushden & Diamonds
Jackson joined Rushden & Diamonds in 2004. He was the top scorer for the club in the 2006–07 season, scoring 20 goals. The next season, he was again the top league scorer for the Diamonds with 16 goals. This was even though he left the team in January. In 2005, he had trials with big clubs like Manchester United and Manchester City. Jackson also played for Raunds Town for one month on loan in December 2005. By the time he left the Diamonds, he had scored 43 goals in just over 100 games. This made him one of the club's top goal scorers.
Time at Gillingham F.C.
In January 2008, Jackson signed with Gillingham. This was the same club that had rejected him as a young player. He signed a three-and-a-half-year contract for £150,000. He played his first game for Gillingham on February 2, 2008, against Cheltenham Town.
On January 4, 2009, Jackson scored a goal for Gillingham in their FA Cup match against Aston Villa. Gillingham lost the game 2–1. He scored both goals when Gillingham beat Rochdale in the 2008–09 play-off semi-final. He also scored the winning goal in the 90th minute against Shrewsbury Town in the final. This 1–0 win helped Gillingham return to League One after being relegated the year before.
Simeon Jackson's Norwich City Journey

Jackson joined Norwich in July 2010. He signed a two-year contract with an option for another year. He was given the number 10 jersey. He played his first game for Norwich on August 6, 2010, in a 3–2 loss to Watford. He scored his first goal for the club against Swansea City on August 21.
His manager, Paul Lambert, often used Jackson as a substitute. This was because other players, Grant Holt and Chris Martin, played very well together. Jackson got to start against Bristol City and scored two goals. He scored his fourth goal of the season in a 1–0 win over Middlesbrough on October 23. On April 2, 2011, Jackson scored his first three goals in one game (a hat-trick) for Norwich. He came on as a substitute and scored three times in the last twenty minutes against Scunthorpe United. He then scored the goal that helped Norwich get promoted to the Premier League. This was a late winning goal against Portsmouth.

In June 2012, the club extended Jackson's contract for another year. On August 25, 2012, he scored his first goal of the new season in a 1–1 draw against Queens Park Rangers. At the end of the season, Norwich released Jackson. He had found it hard to get playing time in his second year in the top league.
Playing in Germany for Eintracht Braunschweig
On July 10, 2013, Jackson signed a two-year contract with the German Bundesliga team Eintracht Braunschweig. He had played in only nine games during the first half of the season. Because of this, Jackson and Eintracht Braunschweig agreed to end his contract early on January 31, 2014.
