In this new story, Rose-Red will be Snow White's sister. The plot will happen right after Snow White eats the poisoned apple. Rose-Red will go on a risky adventure with Grumpy and the other dwarves. They will try to find a way to break the curse and save Snow White.
Live-Action Remake
A live-action remake of the 1937 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs movie was announced in 2016. Erin Cressida Wilson is writing the script, and Marc Platt is producing it. This new movie will tell more of the original story. It will also have new songs written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Marc Webb signed on to direct the film in 2019.
Comic Strips
A comic strip version of Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was released. It came out around the same time as the movie. Merril de Marris wrote the comic, and Hank Porter drew it. Both worked for Walt Disney Pictures.
The comic strip ran every Sunday from December 12, 1937, to April 24, 1938. It was shared by King Features Syndicate. This comic strip used some ideas that were not used in the final movie. For example, there was a funnier first meeting between the Prince and Snow White. Also, the Evil Queen kidnapped the Prince to stop him from saving Snow White. These unused ideas were later used in the movie Sleeping Beauty.
The comic was later turned into comic books in 1944, 1951, 1987, and 1995. Different companies like Dell and Marvel published them.
