Walt Disney Animation Studios is a famous American animation studio located in Burbank, California. It's the original part of The Walt Disney Company that makes feature films. The movies from this studio are often called "Disney Classics" or "Disney Animated Canon."

The studio started as Walt Disney Productions in 1937 and later became Walt Disney Feature Animation in 1986, before getting its current name in 2007. It has made 63 films so far! Their very first movie was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, which was one of the first full-length animated films ever made in the United States. Their most recent film is Moana 2, released in 2024.
