Cowboy Bebop is a cool Japanese anime TV show that first came out in Japan in 1998. It was made by a studio called Sunrise and directed by Shinichiro Watanabe. The story is about a team of bounty hunters who fly through outer space. Their job is to catch criminals and bring them to justice. The show has 26 exciting episodes.
This show became super popular in the United States too! It first aired there in 2001 on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. It was actually the very first anime show to be shown on Adult Swim. Because it was so successful, Cartoon Network started showing even more anime shows.
Because the show was so loved, it also has a movie, some manga (Japanese comics), and two video games! The movie is called Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door. The video games were made for Playstation and Playstation 2 consoles.

What is Cowboy Bebop About?
The story of Cowboy Bebop takes place in the year 2071. In this future, the main characters travel through outer space in their spaceship called the Bebop. They are bounty hunters, also known as "Cowboys." Their goal is to find and catch dangerous criminals.
If the Cowboys catch a criminal alive, they get a reward. But if the criminal dies, they don't get any money. These criminals are called "bounties." Most episodes show the crew trying to catch a new bounty. Some episodes also tell us more about the characters' past lives.
At the beginning, the main heroes are Spike and Jet. Later, they meet other interesting people who join their crew on the Bebop. These new members include Faye, a smart computer hacker named Ed, and a super intelligent dog named Ein.

- Spike Spiegel is the main hero of the show. He is really good at shooting and martial arts. He is also a skilled pilot who can fly spaceships very well.

- Jet Black used to be a detective before becoming a bounty hunter. He is the owner of the Bebop spaceship. Jet is like the responsible older brother of the group.
