Tenniken is a small town, also called a municipality, located in Switzerland. It's part of the Sissach district in the Basel-Country canton.

Tenniken covers an area of about 4.66 square kilometers (1.8 square miles). A large part of this land, about 47.9%, is used for farming. Forests cover 41.2% of the area. The remaining 11.4% is developed with buildings and roads.

Most of the forest area, 40.1%, is covered with thick trees. A small part, 1.1%, has orchards or small groups of trees. For farming, 23.0% of the land is used for growing crops. Another 20.8% is used for pastures where animals graze. About 4.1% is used for orchards or vineyards.

The coat of arms for Tenniken has a special design. It is split down the middle. On one side, there is a black letter "Tau" on a gold background. On the other side, there are six stripes, alternating black and silver.
