New Leaders and Kingdoms
- On February 18, Amda Seyon I, the powerful Emperor of Ethiopia, started his military campaigns. These were in the southern Muslim areas of his empire. Some historians think this might have happened in 1332 instead.
- David II of Scotland became the new King of Scotland. This was a big moment for the country.
- Aimone of Savoy took over as the Count of Savoy. This was an important title in what is now Italy.
