Kids Encyclopedia Facts

Canal Panda is a fun TV channel from Spain and Portugal that shows awesome cartoons and shows for kids! It was one of the very first channels in the Iberian Peninsula to be just for children's programs, especially animated series.

It started way back in 1996 as Panda Club in both Spain and Portugal. A year later, in 1997, it changed its name to Canal Panda. In 2000, it stopped broadcasting in Spain for a while and focused on Portugal. But don't worry, it came back to Spain in the early 2010s!

Today, Canal Panda is owned by a company called Dreamia. This company is a partnership between AMC Networks International Iberia and NOS.
