What are Cars Toons about?
Cars Toons has two main parts: Mater's Tall Tales and Tales from Radiator Springs. Each part tells different kinds of stories.
Mater's Tall Tales: Wild Stories!
In Mater's Tall Tales, Mater tells amazing, unbelievable stories about things he supposedly did in the past. He always starts by saying, "If I'm lyin', I'm cryin'!"
Mater tells Lightning McQueen a wild story, and then suddenly, McQueen finds himself in the story too! He usually doesn't remember being there. After Mater finishes his tale, McQueen often says it can't be true. But then, something from Mater's story appears in real life, making McQueen wonder if it was all real after all!
At the end of most episodes, Mater and McQueen pose in funny costumes from the story.
Tales from Radiator Springs: Daily Fun!
Tales from Radiator Springs is different. These shorts show the funny daily adventures of McQueen, Mater, and their friends in their hometown, Radiator Springs. These stories happen after the events of the movie Cars 2.
