Dear Canada facts for kids

Dear Canada is a cool series of historical novels made just for kids! These books started coming out in 2001 and are still being published today. Scholastic Canada Ltd. publishes them.

The Dear Canada books are a lot like the Dear America series. Each book is written as if it's the diary of a young girl. Through her diary entries, you get to experience important moments in Canadian history right alongside her! The series covers many different topics, from well-known events to lesser-known stories, like the Home Children, the North West Resistance, and the 1837 Rebellion.
