Dylan Baker (born October 7, 1959) is an American actor. He is known for his many roles in movies and TV shows. You might recognize him from films like Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007), where he played Dr. Curt Connors. He also appeared in Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) and Selma (2014).
On TV, Dylan Baker has had important roles in series such as The Good Wife (2010–2015), Damages (2011), The Americans (2016), and Homeland (2018). For his work on The Good Wife, he was nominated three times for a Primetime Emmy Award, which is a big award for TV actors.
He was also nominated for a Tony Award for his acting in the play La Bête in 1991. In 2013, he directed his first movie, called 23 Blast.

Early Life and School Days
Dylan Baker was born in Syracuse, New York. He grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia. He started acting when he was a teenager in local theater shows.
He went to Holy Cross Regional Catholic School and Darlington School. He then graduated from Georgetown Preparatory School in 1976. After high school, he studied at the College of William and Mary and Southern Methodist University. He later earned a special degree in Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama.

Dylan Baker has performed in many plays on Broadway theatre, which is the highest level of theater in the United States. These include Eastern Standard, La Bête, and God of Carnage. He won an Obie Award in 1986 for his acting in an off-Broadway play called Not About Heroes. The next year, he made his first movie appearance in Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987).
His first regular TV role was in the show Murder One (1995). Since then, he has appeared in many popular TV series. These include Law & Order, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and The West Wing.
In 1998, he received a lot of praise for his role in the movie Happiness. In 2000, he played Robert McNamara, who was the Secretary of Defense, in Thirteen Days. This movie was about the Cuban Missile Crisis, a very important historical event. In 2002, he played an accountant for a crime group in Road to Perdition.
A role many kids might know him from is Dr. Curt Connors in Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007).
He also appeared in the TV series Kings in 2009. His wife, Becky Ann Baker, also acted in that show. He was a guest star in an episode of Monk and in the TV show House. He also played a spy in two episodes of Burn Notice.
In 2011, Dylan Baker played a CIA agent named Jerry Boorman in season 4 of Damages. He also had a recurring role as the father of a character in the NBC show Smash. He was nominated for an Emmy Award three times for his role as Colin Sweeney on The Good Wife.
In 2015, he performed on Broadway with famous actress Helen Mirren in a play called The Audience. In this play, he played former Prime Minister John Major.
In 2016, he had a memorable role as a secret agent in Season 4 of the FX series The Americans. In 2017, he joined the cast of the show Homeland as Senator Sam Paley. He also starred in the 2020 series Hunters, where his wife also had a role.
