The EVO Smart Console was a special computer and video game console. It was made by a company called Envizions. At first, it was called Evo: Phase One. A test version came out in October 2006. The final version was released in November 2008.
This system used Linux software. This software was based on Fedora. The console came with three games: SuperTux, Kobo Deluxe, and Kid Destiny. The EVO Smart Console could show HD pictures. It could also connect to the Internet. It could even run games made for Windows computers. It had a 120 GB hard drive and 2 GB of RAM.

The Final EVO Smart Console
The final name for the system was EVO Smart Console. It was released to game makers in November 2008. It cost about $250. This version could play games from the old Amiga system. It also had a video service called Akimbo for watching movies.
The final console had a bigger 250 GB hard drive. It could show even clearer pictures in 1080p resolution. Its own Linux operating system was called Mirrors Evolution. There was also open source code. This let developers create new games for Linux.

EVO 2
The EVO 2 was a video game console that was never released. Envizions first talked about it in 2011. They called it GameBox at first. More details and pictures came out in May 2011. It was supposed to come out in late 2011 or 2012.

Around 2012, Envizions also mentioned the EVO 2 DX. This was planned as a gaming computer. It was supposed to run both Windows and Android games. They thought it might let you play Android games with hand movements. There was also talk of a version that could play Blu-ray Discs.
