Interstate 15 (I-15) is a very important highway in the United States. It stretches all the way from San Diego, California, in the south, up to Sweet Grass, Montana, near the Canada border in the north. This long road connects many major cities, including exciting places like Las Vegas, Nevada, and Salt Lake City, Utah.

Journey Along Interstate 15
Interstate 15 is about 1,433 miles (2,307 kilometers) long. It was first opened in 1957. This highway crosses six different states. It starts in sunny California and then travels through Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, and finally Montana.

- California: I-15 begins in San Diego. It then goes through cities like Ontario and Barstow.
- Nevada: The highway passes right through the middle of Las Vegas. This part is often very busy.
- Arizona: I-15 only goes through a small part of Arizona. It travels through the amazing Virgin River Gorge.
- Utah: It connects with other major highways near Cove Fort. It also goes through Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah.
- Idaho: I-15 continues north through Idaho. It passes through cities like Chubbuck.
- Montana: The highway ends in Sweet Grass, Montana. This is right at the border with Canada.
