Just Dance is a super popular rhythm game series where you dance along to music! It's made by a company called Ubisoft. The very first Just Dance game came out on the Wii in 2009. Since then, it has become a worldwide hit, letting millions of players show off their best dance moves.

How to Play Just Dance

Just Dance is a video game where you use your body to dance. Each game has a big collection of songs, from old favorites to new hits. Every song comes with its own special dance routine.

When you play, you watch dancers on the screen and try to copy their moves. Small pictures in the corner of the screen help you know what moves are coming next. The better you copy the moves, the more points you get! There are also "gold moves" that give you bonus points if you do them perfectly. At the end of the song, you get a rank based on how well you danced.

You can play Just Dance in different ways depending on your game system. Some games use motion controllers, like the Wii Remote. Others use cameras, like the Kinect. You can even use a special app on your phone as a controller! Most games let up to six players dance at the same time, making it a great party game.

Just Dance 2

Released on October 12, 2010, this game had 48 songs. It was the first game to let up to 8 players dance together! It also added the ability to download new songs.

Just Dance 3

This game came out on October 7, 2011. It was the first Just Dance game available on Xbox 360 (with Kinect) and PlayStation 3 (with PlayStation Move). It included songs by Katy Perry and The Black Eyed Peas.

Released on October 9, 2012, this was the first game to come out on the Wii U. It had over 50 songs, including hits from Carly Rae Jepsen and Pink.

Just Dance 2014

This game launched on October 8, 2013. It was the first Just Dance game for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It featured songs by Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, and Psy.

Released on October 21, 2014, this game included popular tracks from artists like Pharrell Williams and Katy Perry.

This game came out on November 5, 2019. It was the first Just Dance game released on Stadia. It included songs by Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish.

Released on November 12, 2020, this was the first game in the series for the newest consoles: Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. It featured songs by Dua Lipa and Lady Gaga.

Just Dance 2022

This game launched on November 4, 2021. It was the last game in the series released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia. It included songs by Imagine Dragons and Olivia Rodrigo.

Just Dance 2023 Edition

Released on November 22, 2022, this game changed how new content is added. Now, all future songs are added through online updates to the same game. It featured songs by BTS and Taylor Swift.

Just Dance 2024 Edition

This game came out on October 24, 2023. It's the second game to use the new online update system for new songs. It includes tracks by Miley Cyrus and Blackpink.
