Knox County is a county in the state of Texas, USA. In 2020, about 3,353 people lived there. The main town, or county seat, is Benjamin. Knox County was created in 1858 and officially started in 1886. It is named after Henry Knox, who was a general during the American Revolutionary War.

Learning and Education
Several school districts serve the students of Knox County:
- Benjamin Independent School District (ISD)
- Crowell ISD (mostly in Foard County)
- Knox City-O'Brien Consolidated ISD (partly in Haskell County)
- Munday Consolidated ISD (small parts in Haskell and Throckmorton counties)
- Seymour ISD (mostly in Baylor County)
A school district called Goree Independent School District used to serve parts of the county. But on July 1, 2003, it joined with Munday Consolidated ISD.
For older students, Knox County is also served by Vernon College.
Bobby Boatright Memorial Music Camp
The town of Goree in Knox County hosts a special event each year called the Bobby Boatright Memorial Music Camp. This camp is for people of all ages who want to play Western Swing music. It's a chance for them to show off their musical skills. The camp is named after Bobby Boatright, a fiddle player who was from Goree. This camp was even featured on a national radio show called Morning Edition in 2010!
