Political Views
Economy
Kudlow describes himself as a "Reagan supply-sider." This means he believes that cutting taxes and reducing government rules helps the economy grow. He thinks that lower tax rates encourage businesses and people to work more. This, in turn, can lead to more tax money for the government.
He supported the tax cuts made by President George W. Bush. He believed these cuts would lead to a strong economy. Kudlow also supported free trade before joining the White House. However, he later agreed with President Trump's tariffs, seeing them as a way to negotiate.
Politics
In 2002, Kudlow wrote that the United States should attack Iraq. He believed Saddam Hussein had dangerous weapons. He also thought that taking strong action against terrorism would help the stock market.
In 2016, Kudlow supported Donald Trump for president. He defended Trump's plan to build a wall on the Mexico–United States border. He said it was needed to keep the country safe. After a meeting of world leaders in 2018, Kudlow criticized Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
