Former Members
Some places were once part of CAZA but are no longer members. Here is a list of those former members and why they are no longer part of the organization.
- Bowmanville Zoo – Bowmanville, Ontario – This zoo closed its doors on October 10, 2016.
- Crystal Gardens Conservation Centre – Victoria, British Columbia – This centre closed on September 2, 2004.
- Jardin Zoologique du Quebec – Quebec City, Quebec – This zoo closed on March 31, 2006.
- Cherry Brook Zoo – Saint John, New Brunswick – This zoo closed in 2020.
- Marineland of Canada – Niagara Falls, Ontario – This park chose to leave CAZA in May 2017.
- Mountain View Conservation & Breeding Society – Langley, British Columbia – Its membership was ended by CAZA due to concerns about animal care.
