Mensa International is a special club for people with very high IQs (which stands for Intelligence Quotient). An IQ test measures how smart someone is. Mensa was started in 1946 by two lawyers, Roland Berrill and Lancelot Ware. Their idea was to create a group where people could meet and share ideas, no matter their background, as long as they had a very high IQ. Only about 2% of the world's population qualifies to join Mensa. This list shows some of the famous people who have been members of Mensa.
