Maisa da Silva Andrade (born on May 22, 2002) is a famous Brazilian actress and presenter. She also used to be a singer. Maisa was discovered when she was only three years old. She first appeared on a TV show called Programa Raul Gil.

Two years later, she joined SBT. There, she hosted popular kids' shows like Sábado Animado and Bom Dia & Cia. She became even more famous when she co-hosted Pergunte a Maisa with Silvio Santos. As an actress, Maisa is well-known for playing Valéria Ferreira in Carrossel. She also played Juju Almeida in Carinha de Anjo and Cintia Dorella in Cinderela Pop. Her first villain role was Júlia in the movie Ela Disse, Ele Disse.

Starting Young: TV Star at Three

Maisa was discovered in 2005 on Programa Raul Gil. She impressed everyone by singing songs from groups like Rouge. In 2007, she moved to SBT. She started hosting Sábado Animado, answering calls and leading games. She also hosted Domingo Animado and Bom Dia & Cia.

By 2008, her Saturday show sometimes had more viewers than bigger shows. She also joined Programa Silvio Santos in a segment called Pergunte a Maisa. In 2009, Maisa released her first music album, Tudo que Me Vem na Cabeça. It featured popular songs like Tempo de Mudar.

Becoming an Actress and Growing Up on Screen

On October 12, 2011, Maisa left Bom Dia & Cia. She took on the role of Valéria Ferreira in the TV show Carrossel. This was a remake of a famous soap opera.

In April 2013, Maisa returned to Sábado Animado. She hosted alongside other young presenters. In 2014, she co-hosted Mundo Pet. Later that year, she released her first extended play (EP) called Eu Cresci!. The song "NheNheNhem" from the EP became very popular.

Maisa made her movie debut in 2015 with Carrossel: O Filme. A sequel, Carrossel 2: O Sumiço de Maria Joaquina, followed in 2016. That same year, she joined her second soap opera, Carinha de Anjo. By 2018, she was one of the most-watched people on Instagram Stories in Brazil.

New Shows and Netflix Success

In 2019, Maisa got her own talk show on SBT, called Programa da Maisa. She also played her first villain role in the movie Ela Disse, Ele Disse. In 2020, Maisa attended a fashion show in Milan. She also starred in her first Netflix movie, Pai em Dobro.

In October 2020, Maisa announced she would leave SBT after 13 years. She wanted to work on new projects. Her show, Programa da Maisa, ended. In December 2020, Maisa started her own business called Mudah. This agency helps connect brands with artists for advertising.

In 2021, Maisa was cast in the new Netflix series, De Volta aos 15. The show premiered in 2022. Maisa plays the teenage version of the main character, Anita. The series was very popular and got a second season in 2023.

Maisa is an only child. She was born in ABC Paulista. She lived in São José dos Campos until she was seven. In 2009, she moved to Alphaville for her career.
