The Ottawa – Glandorf Local School District is a public school district in Putnam County, Ohio, United States. It serves students from the villages of Glandorf and Ottawa. It also includes parts of several nearby townships.

This district is the biggest local school district in Putnam County. Ottawa is the main town, or county seat, of Putnam County. The school district is located in Northwest Ohio. It's about an hour and fifteen minutes southwest of Toledo.

About the Superintendent

The leader of the Ottawa-Glandorf Local School District is the superintendent. Don Horstman has been the superintendent since August 1, 2014. Before this role, he was the superintendent for Kalida Local Schools. He also worked as a principal at Kalida High School.

Schools in the District

The Ottawa – Glandorf Local School District runs several schools. These schools help students from preschool all the way through high school.

High School

Before the schools merged, Ottawa High School's mascot was the Indians.

School Building Updates

The Ottawa-Glandorf High School was expanded and updated in 2004 and 2005. This was the first big building project for the district.

Later, in 2008, the Ohio School Facilities Commission offered money for more building projects. The school board decided to build two new elementary schools. These new buildings were designed to hold many students. The Ottawa building was for 450 students, and the Glandorf building was for 500 students.
