Paradise Point is right on the Gold Coast Broadwater, which is a large, calm waterway. It also has easy access to the Coomera River. South Stradbroke Island acts like a natural shield, protecting the area from big ocean waves.
Because it's so close to these waterways, you'll find many boat ramps and marinas here. Two special island developments are connected to Paradise Point. Sovereign Islands is a fancy area with canals, reached by a bridge called the Sovereign Mile. Ephraim Island is another secure island, joined by a bridge from Falkinder Avenue.
The main shopping area, Paradise Point Village, has a post office, news agent, medical clinic, and many places to eat. There's also Jabiru Island to the west, which is a natural area called Phil Hill Environmental Park.
Some homes in Paradise Point are very expensive. In 2014, King Charles Drive was noted for having many million-dollar houses.
