Pepper Ann is an American animated TV series made by Sue Rose. It first showed on September 13, 1997, on Disney's One Saturday Morning on ABC. The last episode aired on November 18, 2000. Pepper Ann was special because it was the first Disney animated TV show created by a woman.
Tom Warburton, who later made Codename: Kids Next Door for Cartoon Network, helped design the main characters for Pepper Ann.

Main Characters
- Pepper Ann Pearson (voiced by Kathleen Wilhoite) is the main character. She is a 12-year-old girl who wears glasses. Her strong feelings often lead to funny daydreams. She is Jewish on her mother's side.
- Nicky Anais Little (voiced by Clea Lewis) is Pepper Ann's best friend. She has blonde hair and is usually shy. Nicky is also a very good student.
- Milo Kamalani (voiced by Danny Cooksey) is Pepper Ann's other best friend. He is a relaxed artist who loves to draw.
- Lydia Pearson (voiced by April Winchell) is the mother of Pepper Ann and Moose. She tries her best to guide her daughters.
- Margaret Rose "Moose" Pearson (voiced by Pamela Adlon) is Pepper Ann's younger sister. She is 7 years old and often very quiet and calm.

- Principal Hickey (voiced by Don Adams) is the strict principal at Hazelnut Middle School. He doesn't put up with any silly behavior from Pepper Ann. This was the last TV role for Don Adams.
- Vera Groober-Schwartz (voiced by Paddi Edwards) is the school's helpful secretary.
- Roland Carter (voiced by Jim Cummings) is a science teacher. He is very excited about science. Mr. Carter often gives Pepper Ann detention, but he believes she can be a good student.
- Abriola Stark (voiced by April Winchell) teaches math at Hazelnut Middle School. She also runs the school's drama club.
- Janie Lilly Diggety (voiced by Susan Tolsky) is Pepper Ann and Moose's aunt. She is Lydia's sister and used to work for the Peace Corps.
- JoJo Diggety (voiced by Tino Insana) is Pepper Ann and Moose's uncle. He is Janie's husband and works as a police officer.
- Trinket St. Blair (voiced by Jenna von Oÿ) is a popular and rich girl. She is often Pepper Ann's rival.
- Cissy Rooney (voiced by Kath Soucie) is Trinket's best friend. She is also popular but sometimes a bit silly.
- Dieter Lederhosen (voiced by Jeff Bennett) is a German student in Pepper Ann's class. He really loves food, especially strudel.
- Tessa & Vanessa James (both voiced by Cree Summer) are twin sisters. They are known for gossiping and often finish each other's sentences.
- Peter "Pink-Eye Pete" Oglevee (voiced by Jeff Bennett) is a nerdy kid. He often has pink eye.
- Craig Bean (voiced by Jeff Bennett) is a "cool" 8th grader. Pepper Ann sometimes has a crush on him.
- Alice Kane (voiced by Lauren Tom) is another nerdy rival for Pepper Ann.
- Gwen Mezzrow (voiced by Kimmy Robertson) is a cheerful girl. She sometimes likes Milo, and other times she likes Dieter.
- Sketch (voiced by Karen Duffy) is an 8th grader. Pepper Ann looks up to her because she seems very "cool."
Where Did Pepper Ann Air?
Pepper Ann was shown as part of the Disney's One Saturday Morning block on ABC. This was from 1997 to 2001. Later, reruns were also shown on Disney's One Too on UPN during the 2000–01 TV season. You could also watch it on Disney Channel and Toon Disney until 2008.
All 65 episodes of the show became available on Disney+ on September 8, 2021. Sometimes, the episodes from seasons 4 and 5 are listed under season 3 on the platform. Also, some episode parts from season 5 might be in a different order.
