ABC Kids was a special TV time slot on the ABC network. It showed cartoons and live-action shows for kids. It was originally called Disney's One Saturday Morning until 2002.
This block of shows aired every Saturday morning. It ran from September 13, 1997, until August 27, 2011. The shows were made by Walt Disney Television Animation and Disney Channel. They were mostly for kids aged 3 to 13.
Sometimes, in certain areas, some shows also aired on Sundays. This happened because local TV stations had different schedules. They might have wanted to show sports or other programs on Saturdays.
After 2007, ABC Kids mostly showed reruns of older programs. Because of this, ABC decided to stop having children's shows on Saturday mornings. They made a deal with a company called Litton Entertainment. This company created a new block of shows called Litton's Weekend Adventure. This new block replaced ABC Kids on September 3, 2011.
