Polina Sergeyevna Gagarina (Russian: Поли́на Серге́евна Гага́рина; born on March 27, 1987) is a famous Russian singer and songwriter. She became well-known for representing Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Her song was called "A Million Voices". She finished second in the contest, earning 303 points. This was a record for a second-place finisher at the time.
Polina also took part in a Chinese singing competition called Singer in 2019. She made it to the finals of that show. In 2021, she was one of the highest-earning Russian artists on Instagram and YouTube.

About Polina Gagarina
Polina Gagarina was born in Moscow, Russia. She spent much of her childhood in Greece. Her mother was a ballet dancer. In 1993, Polina's father passed away. Her mother decided to move them back to Russia. However, they soon returned to Greece and lived in Athens.
After finishing her schooling, Polina moved to Saratov to live with her grandmother. She speaks both Russian and Greek fluently.
Polina's Music Journey
Early Career: Star Factory and First Album
In 2003, Polina Gagarina joined Star Factory. This was a popular Russian TV show where people competed in singing. She sang many songs by a producer named Maxim Fadeev. Polina won the competition. After her win, she was asked to join a group called Playgirls. They got a music contract, but the group later broke up.
Polina then released several songs on her own. These included "Kolybelnaya" and "Morning". Her first album, Poprosi u oblakov, came out in 2007.
New Music and Collaborations
In 2008, Polina released a song called "Komu, zachem?". It was a duet with another Russian singer, Irina Dubtsova. Her second album, O sebe, was released in March 2010.
Starting in 2012, Polina began working with Konstantin Meladze. He is a well-known producer from Russia and Georgia. Together, they created four popular songs. These included "Spektakl okonchen" ("The Play Is Over") and "Net" ("No").
Eurovision Success and 9 Album

On August 25, 2007, Polina Gagarina married Russian actor Pyotr Kislov. They had a son on October 14, 2007. They later divorced on March 31, 2010.
She married photographer Dmitry Iskhakov on September 9, 2014. They had a daughter in April 2017. They separated in 2021.
