José Rafael Moneo Vallés (born May 9, 1937) is a famous Spanish architect. He has won many important awards for his designs. These include the Pritzker Prize in 1996, which is like the Nobel Prize for architecture. He also received the RIBA Royal Gold Medal in 2003 and the Golden Lion at La Biennale in 2021.
