TRTÉ is a special block of TV shows on the Irish channel RTÉ2. It's made for young people aged 7 to 16. If you have Virgin Media Ireland or eir Vision, TRTÉ might even appear as its own separate channel. This channel shows the same programmes that are airing on RTÉ2 during the TRTÉ block.
Since 2016, TRTÉ has focused on showing a few main programmes. These include News2day, The Simpsons, Home and Away, and Neighbours. This change happened because of budget cuts.
