TRTÉ is a programming block which airs on Irish public service broadcaster RTÉ2 targeting a demographic between 7 and 16 years of age. On Virgin Media Ireland and eir Vision, TRTÉ is a separate channel in the Children's section that simulcasts TRTÉ on RTÉ2.
Since 2016, the programming block has been downsized to only incorporate a number of key programmes such as News2day, The Simpsons, Home and Away and Neighbours due to significant cutbacks.

TRTÉ has generally aired most teen/children's shows from original channels such as Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Fox, Teletoon and Nickelodeon including iCarly, Aaron Stone, Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, Dani's House, Summerhill, The Simpsons, The Bagel and Becky Show, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Pucca, Yin Yang Yo! and Freaktown.
Films
TRTÉ, like RTÉjr, shows many family films during the holidays (summer, half-term, etc.). TRTÉ transmits only films that are rated G, PG & 12A.

Reality TV
- Mission Beach – Mission Beach USA follows eight Irish 16-year-old guys and girls as they train for three weeks at the Fort Lauderdale Junior Lifeguard Programme, Florida, USA.
- Football's Next Star sees 10 Irish boys embark on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fulfill a boyhood dream, a unique chance to win a place at the renowned Celtic Youth Academy.
- Pump Up My Dance is a new high-energy series where some of the finest Irish and International dance masters test talented young dancers with the toughest routines they have ever encountered. Each show features a different dance style where 20 hopefuls dance their hearts out. Just like in a professional audition, the Dance Master narrows down the 20 dancers to his/her top five who perform in Smock Alley Theatre just one week later.
- Ultimate Street Challenge – Over 6 episodes 10 sixteen-year-olds battle it out through physical challenge on the streets of Dublin to find the Ultimate Street Challenge Champion.
- Big Wave Bootcamp – Big Wave Bootcamp takes 8 surf-mad Irish teens and unleashes them on the world's most extreme surf school in the sunny shores of Hawaii! There they'll spend three weeks being tutored by a surfing legend Ken Bradshaw so they can take on the meanest barrels the Aloha state has to throw at them
- Super Crew – TRTÉ goes on the hunt for the hottest teenage hip hop dancers in Super Crew with presenter Aidan Power and judges; Nike dancer/choreographer Kymberlee Jay, Irish producer/choreographer Stuart O'Connor and dancer/choreographer Jane Shortall.
Entertainment
- Elev8 – Featured comedy sketches and celebrity news. Elev8 shows mad randomness in every episode with competitions, fashion advice and film and game reviews. The show aired 2011 - 2014 to a strong audience. The show was presented by Ivan Minnock, Seán Regan and Moldovan-born Diana Bunici.
- OMG! Jedward's Dream Factory – JEDWARD are back in the Dream Factory and ready to make your dreams come true. Una Foden of the girl group The Saturdays replaced Jedward as host and the series was renamed Una's Dream Ticket.
- Juice an educational chat show with Jarleth Regan.
- TwoTube filler spots between The Simpsons, Home And Away and Neighbours.
Game/Quiz shows
- The Mountain is TRTÉ's science adventure game show series which sees two teams complete science-based challenges around an adventure style course with the winning team reaching The Mountain summit. The Mountain was filmed at Carlingford Adventure Centre, Co Louth.
- Sing! is a teenage version of The Lyrics Board in which contestants try to guess a song according to their lyrics. The show was presented by Brian Ormond with Emma O'Driscoll and Royseven's Paul Walsh as team captains.
- Watch Your Language, with presenter Shonagh Lyons, is the hit wordplay game show where speed, teamwork and spelling are key.

Drama/Comedy
- Roy – Roy thinks he's just like any normal boy. Born into a real world, he's an every-day kid living in an every-day house in an every-day street in a suburb of Dublin. Inside Roy feels just like an ordinary boy but the trouble is, he's not . . . he's a cartoon. is the plot line listed on the show's official website. Unlike other TRTÉ original series, it also airs in the UK on CBBC.

- D411 a series looking at teenagers in Dublin.
- Ireland Dig It! is a new, exciting archaeology adventure game show where teams of young people try join the brilliant, but slightly batty, Professor Gertrude McNulty to hunt down Uafás, an evil time bandit, who is destroying ancient Irish history! They voyage back through the centuries cracking codes, trading with Vikings, building portal tombs, sailing ships, playing Bronze Age instruments in their pursuit of the demon Uafás. Will they capture him before it's too late?
