Theo James Walcott (born 16 March 1989) is an English former professional footballer. He played as a forward for many years. Theo represented England at the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2012. He played 47 games for his country, scoring eight goals.
Walcott started his career at the Southampton Academy. He then joined Arsenal in 2006 for £5 million. He was Arsenal's top scorer that season and scored over 100 goals for the club in total.
On 30 May 2006, Theo Walcott became England's youngest-ever senior football player. He was only 17 years and 75 days old. In December of that year, he won the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award. On 10 September 2008, he made history again.
