The Victoria Award is a special prize given to Swedish athletes. It used to be called the Victoria Scholarship. Every year since 1979, this award is given out on the island of Öland. The award ceremony happens on July 14th. This date is important because it's the birthday of Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden. The award celebrates amazing achievements in sports!
