This article is about the awesome players who were part of the women's indoor volleyball tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Each country sends a team, and this list shows all the players, also called the "roster," for each team. These athletes are super skilled and train hard to compete for Olympic medals!

Volleyball teams have players who specialize in different roles. Here are some of the main positions you'll see:

  • Setter (S): This player is like the quarterback of the team. They usually get the second touch and "set" the ball perfectly for a teammate to spike it over the net.
  • Outside Hitter (OH): These players are often the main attackers. They hit the ball from the front or back row and also help with passing and blocking.
  • Opposite Spiker (OP): This player usually plays opposite the setter. They are also strong attackers and help with blocking.
  • Middle Blocker (MB): These players are key for blocking attacks at the net. They also hit quick attacks in the middle of the court.
  • Libero (L): This player wears a different colored jersey and is a defensive specialist. They are amazing at digging up hard-hit balls and passing, but they can't block or attack the ball over the net.
  • Captain (c): This player is the team leader on the court.
