The Old Caledonia Spring House
For many years, there was an old brick hotel in the middle of Wheelock village called the Caledonia Spring House. In 1893, Myron D. Park, who was a town leader, sold the hotel to Marshall Way.
Later, the Caledonia Spring House was sold to Alden J. Rennie. He owned several mills in nearby towns like Sutton, Sheffield, and Wheelock. The building eventually became very old and was taken apart in the 1990s. It was then moved to Peacham, where it is being fixed up on private land.
