Yogurtland is a popular international company that sells frozen yogurt. It's known for its self-serve style, where you get to pick your own flavors and add lots of fun toppings. Besides frozen yogurt, they also offer ice cream, sorbet, and even plant-based treats. Yogurtland has stores in many places, including the United States, Guam, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates. The company is famous for letting customers create their own unique dessert.

History of Yogurtland

Yogurtland was started in February 2006 by Phillip Chang, who is still the company's CEO. The very first Yogurtland store opened in Fullerton, California. Yogurtland was one of the first frozen yogurt companies to let customers serve themselves. They were also known for adding fresh fruit to their topping bars.

Yogurtland has grown a lot over the years. They have stores in many countries like Venezuela, Australia, Guam, and Thailand. The company has expanded by working with over 100 franchise partners. This means many different people own and run Yogurtland stores.

On January 28, 2014, Yogurtland opened its first store in the Middle East. This store was located in the famous Dubai Mall in Dubai. A few years later, on February 10, 2018, Yogurtland opened a store in Oman at Muscat City Centre. Then, on November 9, 2019, the first store in Indonesia opened in West Jakarta.

In 2016, Yogurtland teamed up with popular movies and games. They partnered with Kung Fu Panda and Candy Crush. During these partnerships, they gave out special collectible spoons that looked like characters or icons from the movies and games. They also released new flavors inspired by these partnerships.

Around March 2020, when many places temporarily closed down, Yogurtland changed how it served customers. They focused more on orders for pickup and delivery.

On November 14, 2020, Yogurtland tried something new. They opened a different kind of restaurant called Holsom by Yogurtland in Huntington Beach, California. This new place offered healthy meal options like grain bowls and gourmet toasts. It also had special drinks and, of course, Yogurtland's frozen yogurt.

In March 2021, Yogurtland introduced its first flavor made with oat milk. This was a plant-based cinnamon oatmeal cookie flavor.

In May 2021, Yogurtland made it easier for customers to order and earn rewards. They updated their rewards program, mobile app, and online ordering system. The new rewards program lets members earn points for every dollar they spend. They can get a $5 reward for every 100 points. Members also get a free treat on their birthday. The new app makes it simple to order, check rewards, and use gift cards.

During the summer of 2021, Yogurtland added new items to its menu. They started offering limited-time fruit bowl fusions and acai bowls.

Yogurtland Products

Yogurtland stores usually have up to 16 different flavors available at any time. A special team of "Flavorologists" creates these flavors. They have made over 200 unique flavors, like Rocket Pop Sorbet, Dragon Passion Tart, Salted Caramel Pecan, and Plant-Based Piña Colada. Customers can mix and match flavors in their cups by pulling handles on the yogurt machines.

Yogurtland offers many choices for different diets. They have flavors that are dairy-free, sugar-free, low fat, non-fat, gluten-free, and vegan. After choosing their yogurt, customers can add toppings. There are about 30 different toppings available. These include fresh-cut fruits, chocolate bits, gummies, cookies, nuts, granola, and syrups. The price for your dessert depends on how much it weighs.
