The main town, or "seat," of the district is Zofingen. The town with the most people living in it is Oftringen. The smallest town is Wiliberg. As of 31 December 2020, about 73,843 people live in the Zofingen District.

Changes to Towns Over Time
Since the year 2000, some changes have happened to the towns in the district:
- In 2002, the town of Mühlethal became part of Zofingen.
- In 2019, the town of Attelwil joined with Reitnau.
