A Bite of China (which means "China on the tongue tip" in Chinese) is a super popular Chinese TV show. It's a documentary series that explores the amazing food culture of China. The show was directed by Chen Xiaoqing and narrated by Li Lihong. Roc Chen created the original music.
The first episode aired on May 14, 2012, on China Central Television. It quickly became very popular! This series shows the history and stories behind many different Chinese foods. It covers over 60 places across mainland China, Macau, and Hong Kong. The show also helps introduce Chinese food culture to people around the world.
The first season had seven episodes. A second season, also with seven episodes, aired from April 18 to June 6, 2014. The third season was shown from February 19 to 26, 2018, during the Chinese New Year holiday.
