Antigua and Barbuda is a beautiful island nation that loves sports! They first joined the exciting world of the Olympic Games in 1976. Since then, they have sent their best athletes to almost every Summer Olympics. The only time they didn't participate was in 1980. This was because they joined a group of countries that chose not to go to the Moscow Olympics that year.

Even though their athletes always try their hardest, Antigua and Barbuda has not yet won an Olympic medal. They have also never competed in the Winter Olympics, which are held on snow and ice.

The organization that helps Antigua and Barbuda's athletes get ready for the Olympics is called The Antigua and Barbuda Olympic Association. It was created in 1966 and officially recognized in 1976.
