The country of Chad has been part of the Summer Olympic Games for many years. Chadian athletes first joined the Olympics in 1964. They have sent athletes to almost every Summer Olympics since then, up to 2024.
However, Chad did not take part in the 1976 and 1980 Games. So far, athletes from Chad have not won any Olympic medals. Chad has never sent athletes to the Winter Olympic Games.
The group in charge of Chad's Olympic teams is called the Comité Olympique et Sportif Tchadien. This committee was started in 1963 and officially recognized in 1964.
