Christopher Charles Mintz-Plasse (born June 20, 1989) is an American actor. He is best known for his funny roles in movies. You might know him as Fogell, also called McLovin, from Superbad (2007). He also played Augie Farcques in Role Models (2008) and Chris D'Amico in Kick-Ass (2010) and its sequel Kick-Ass 2 (2013). He was also "Evil" Ed Lee in the 2011 remake of Fright Night.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse has also used his voice for many animated characters. He was the voice of Fishlegs Ingerman in the How to Train Your Dragon movies (2010–2019). He also voiced King Gristle Jr. in the Trolls movies (2016–present).

Early Life
Christopher Mintz-Plasse was born in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. He went to El Camino Real High School where he was part of the school's improv comedy team. His mom, Ellen Mintz, was a school counselor, and his dad, Ray Plasse, worked for the postal service.
Acting Career
Christopher Mintz-Plasse started his acting career in the movie Superbad. This movie was a big hit and many people loved his performance. He even got nominated for an MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance.
In 2008, he acted with Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott in the movie Role Models. He played Augie Farques, a shy teenager who loved medieval role-playing games. He also appeared in a short online show called Wainy Days. Later, he was in the movie Year One, playing a funny version of the character Isaac from the Bible.
The next year, he lent his voice to Fishlegs in the animated movie How to Train Your Dragon. In 2010, he appeared in Kick-Ass as the superhero Red Mist, whose real name was Chris D'Amico. He first tried out for the main role of Kick-Ass, but the director, Matthew Vaughn, thought he was perfect for Red Mist instead.
In May 2010, he was a guest star in an episode of Party Down. That same month, he did another voice-over for the movie Marmaduke, playing a dog named Giuseppe. He also appeared in music videos for Kid Cudi and The Soft Pack.
In 2011, Christopher Mintz-Plasse was in Fright Night, which was a remake of an older movie. He played Edward Lee, the former best friend of Charley Brewster. He wasn't sure about taking the role at first because it was a remake, but he liked the script and the other actors involved.
In 2012, he voiced Alvin, a bullying student, in the animated movie ParaNorman. He also had a small part in Pitch Perfect as Tommy, who helped with auditions. He was supposed to be in a TV show called Friend Me, but it was canceled before it aired. He also starred in a series of online videos called The Far Cry Experience to promote a video game. In these videos, he played a funny version of himself stuck on an island.
He played Chris D'Amico again in Kick-Ass 2, which came out in 2013. He found this role to be more serious than his past ones and worked with an acting coach to prepare. He also appeared in a music video for Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
He and his Kick-Ass co-star Chloë Grace Moretz were in a short part of the movie Movie 43. He also had small roles in This Is the End, where he played a fictional version of himself, and in the romantic comedy The To Do List.
In 2014, Christopher Mintz-Plasse had a supporting role as Scoonie in the comedy movie Neighbors. He also voiced Fishlegs again in How to Train Your Dragon 2 and in the DreamWorks Dragons TV series.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse played drums in a rock band called The Young Rapscallions for eight years. After that, he started a new band called Bear on Fire, where he plays bass guitar. He has also played bass for the musician Ben Kweller.
