Deitingen's History: A Look Back in Time
Deitingen has a long history! The first time anyone wrote about it was in 1244. Back then, it was called Teytingen. A few years later, in 1252, its name was written as Tuetingen.

The municipality includes the main village of Deitingen. It also has smaller areas called hamlets like Burg and Wilihof. There was once a settlement called Marchstetten, but it's now abandoned.
