Henry Somerset, 2nd Earl of Worcester (around 1496 – 26 November 1549) was an important English nobleman. He was the son of Charles Somerset, 1st Earl of Worcester and Elizabeth Herbert, 3rd Baroness Herbert. When his father passed away in 1526, Henry became the second Earl of Worcester. He also received the title of Baron Herbert from his mother.

Henry Somerset became a Knight on 1 November 1523 in France. Later, he gained control of Tintern Abbey after the Dissolution of the Monasteries, which was a time when many monasteries in England were closed down.
