Himesh Reshammiya was born in Mumbai, India. His birthday is July 23, 1973. His father, Vipin Reshammiya, was also a music composer. His mother's name is Madhu Reshammiya.
When Himesh was 21, he married Komal. They have a son named Swaym. In 2018, Himesh married actress Sonia Kapoor.

How Himesh Started in Music
Himesh Reshammiya began his career by producing TV shows. He created shows like Andaz and Aashiqui for Zee TV. He also wrote the main songs for some of these shows.
His father was planning a film with actor Salman Khan. When Salman Khan heard Himesh's music, he was very impressed. He promised Himesh a chance to compose music for one of his films.
In 1998, Himesh made his debut as a music composer. This was for the Salman Khan film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. He composed two hit songs for this movie.
He then worked on other films like Bandhan. His first movie where he was the only composer was Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge. He became more well-known after composing music for Humraaz. This earned him a nomination for a big award.
