Les Thioleyres was once a small town, or municipality, in Switzerland. It was located in the canton of Vaud, within the Lavaux-Oron area.
On January 1, 2012, Les Thioleyres joined with several other towns. These included Bussigny-sur-Oron, Châtillens, Chesalles-sur-Oron, Ecoteaux, Oron-la-Ville, Oron-le-Châtel, Palézieux, Les Tavernes, and Vuibroye. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality called Oron.

Les Thioleyres covered an area of about 1.9 square kilometers (0.73 square miles) in 2009. Most of this land was used for farming. Forests also covered a good part of the area.

About 86% of the land was used for farming. This means lots of fields for crops and pastures for animals. Forests covered about 7.3% of the area. The remaining 8.3% was built-up. This included buildings and roads.
In the built-up areas, houses and other buildings made up 4.7%. Roads and other transport areas were 2.6%. The forests included heavily wooded areas and smaller groups of trees or orchards.

District Changes
Before 2006, Les Thioleyres was part of the Oron District. After August 31, 2006, the Oron District was closed. Les Thioleyres then became part of the new Lavaux-Oron District.
