List of tallest buildings in Perth facts for kids
Perth, a big city in Australia, is home to many tall buildings, also known as skyscrapers. This list shows the tallest buildings in Perth, ranked by their height to the very top of their design, like a pointy spire. This way of measuring is used by a group called the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. They count spires but not antennas.
The tallest building in Perth is Central Park, which is sometimes called the "Rio Tinto building." It has 51 floors and is about 249 meters (817 feet) tall. It was finished in 1992 and is also the tallest building in the whole state of Western Australia.
Perth has 5 buildings that are taller than 150 meters (490 feet). Three of these are even taller than 200 meters (660 feet)! Perth has the fifth-highest number of skyscrapers in Australia, after cities like Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.
