Molsheim is a town in northeastern France. It is located in the Bas-Rhin area, which is like a county. Molsheim is also part of the Grand Est region.

It is an important administrative center, known as a "subprefecture." Molsheim is also part of Alsace, a region famous for its rich history and unique culture.

Molsheim is in the middle of the Bas-Rhin area. It is about 29 kilometers (18 miles) west of Strasbourg. The Bruche river flows through the town. This river is a branch of the Ill river.
